Responses should be typed, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-Point font, 1″ margins, 500-750 words in length. Briefly demonstrate your understanding of the themes in the chapter. Offer informed and academic criticisms, analyses, reactions, etc. of the chapter. Make connections between the chapter and other source material when possible. Is there a thesis? What is it? What are the main themes/issues/implications? Why are the themes presented in the chapter significant?
